Centerview Township, MO – Three injured in four-vehicle wreckage on Highway M near US-50


Township of Centerview, MO (November 20, 2022) – A traffic accident took place in Johnson County that injured three people. At approximately 3:40 p.m. on November 18, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that an accident had occurred on Route M.

Preliminary investigations say a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado crashed into the rear of a 2022 Hyundai Elantra. The impact of the crash caused the Hyundai to strike the rear of a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo near the intersection from Route M and US Highway 50.

The crash resulted in debris hitting a 2019 Ford Expedition.

Three people were injured in the accident. Two of the victims, 18-year-old Jayci Stowe and 58-year-old Richard Kelleher, were both transported to Western Missouri Medical Center, where they underwent further treatment for their injuries. The third victim, Christopher Culp, 33, was transported to Rit’sesearch Medical Center, for treatment of serious injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
